MEBO Group Unveils Flying Tigers History Photo Exhibition in Chongqing
The exhibition “Sky of History — The Flying Tigers and China’s War of Resistance” opened at the Stilwell Museum on September 11, 2025 in Chongqing. MEBO Group President Yang Zhibin was invited as a distinguished guest to join Chairman Greene of the Sino-American Aviation Heritage Foundation, descendants of the Flying Tigers, and Chinese leaders in unveiling the exhibition, highlighting MEBO’s commitment to advancing Sino-American historical and cultural exchange.
The ceremony brought together senior representatives from both countries, including Zhao Shiqing, Vice Chairman of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Congress and President of the Chongqing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, as well as Huang Ping, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Highlights of the event included video messages from Flying Tiger veterans, the conferring of a “Friendship School” plaque, and gift exchanges.
President Yang’s participation underscored MEBO Group’s long-standing dedication to honoring the legacy of the Flying Tigers. In recent years, MEBO has actively supported memorial initiatives through exhibitions, youth education, cultural exchanges, and veteran care, contributing to preserving the shared memory of cooperation during World War II.
Featuring a wealth of rare historical photographs, the exhibition recreates the heroic story of Sino-American solidarity. The Stilwell Museum, once a wartime command hub, now stands as a lasting symbol of shared history and offers future generations an important platform for understanding this legacy.
