MEBO Group Supports the Flying Tigers Photo Exhibition in Guangdong
On July 3, 2025, the "Remembering heroes: the flying tigers historical photo exhibition” and the Flying Tigers Friendship School plaque ceremony were grandly held in Guangdong Province. The event aimed to honor the historic contributions of the Flying Tigers, celebrate the deep friendship between the Chinese and American peoples during World War II, and promote the spirit of international solidarity. Zhang Kun, President’s Committee Member and Director of Public Welfare Center of MEBO Group, attended as an important guest.
A Tribute to the Flying Tigers
The exhibition showcased rare photographs that depicted the Flying Tigers’ heroic efforts in China, particularly in Guangdong. The American Volunteer Group (AVG), led by General Claire Lee Chennault, was pivotal in helping China defend against Japanese forces. These images illustrated the bravery and unwavering support of the Flying Tigers and their deep solidarity with the Chinese people during wartime.
Highlighting Cultural Diplomacy
It is worth noting that Li Li, Chairwoman of the Board of MEBO Group, also serves as the Honorary Vice Chairman of the China-U.S. Aviation Heritage Foundation. She also attended key events such as the 80th anniversary of the U.S. 14th Air Force’s support for China’s resistance against Japan, making significant contributions to honoring the legacy of the Flying Tigers and strengthening China-U.S. friendship.
Strengthening China-U.S. Bonds
The visit of the U.S. Flying Tigers delegation not only deepened the traditional friendship and mutual trust between the two nations but also injected new vitality into cooperation in fields such as healthcare, technology, and culture.
