Li Li of MEBO Group Attends the 16th Paris Chinese Film Festival

Paris, May 26, 2025 — The 16th Paris Chinese Film Festival opened at the historic Balzac Cinema with the theme “From Page to Screen,” celebrating 130 years of global cinema and 120 years of Chinese film.

Li Li, Board Director of MEBO Group and producer of The Dream of the Red Chamber, was invited to attend the red carpet and opening ceremony alongside director Hu Mei, representing a growing bridge between the Chinese and French film industries.

This year’s festival features 19 Chinese films adapted from literary classics, including Kong Xiu, If You Are the One, and Shadow Magic. It also showcases acclaimed animations such as The Monkey King Conquers the Demon and Nezha Conquers the Dragon King, as well as the VR experience Palace Banquet in the Tang Dynasty.

Co-hosted by the China Cultural Center in Paris and the France-China Cultural Association, with the MEBO Group as a key partner, the festival will run from May 26 to June 14 and include forums on cross-cultural adaptation and the intersection of film and AI.
