“Echoes of Peace” Cultural Exchange at UN Headquarters
On August 13, 2025, the “Echoes of Peace” cultural exchange event was held at the Rose Garden of the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Co-hosted by China Media Group and China’s Permanent Mission to the UN, the event commemorated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the founding of the UN, promoting historical remembrance and peace.

Li Li, Honorary Vice Chair of the US-China Aviation Heritage Foundation and member of the MEBO Group Board, attended as a representative of business and civil diplomacy. Guests from UN agencies, diplomatic missions, and the cultural community toured the Flying Tigers exhibition before the program officially began with a live performance of “Tennessee,” the theme song from Pearl Harbor.
Speeches by Shen Haixiong (China Media Group), Ambassador Fu Cong, Melissa Fleming (UN), and Jeffery B. Greene emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory and promoting world peace. The evening included the Flower of Peace performance and the multimedia show Remembering History, Calling for Peace, concluding with group photos and exchanges.
MEBO Group has supported the “Remembering Heroes” Flying Tigers photo exhibition since 2024. In 2025, Li Li also initiated the “Flying Tigers Youth Summer Camp” in Beijing, welcoming 80 American students to experience the Great Wall and strengthen China-US friendship through youth dialogue.
