Li Li Engages with Chinese Embassy in Seoul on Healthcare and APEC
On July 22, 2025, Li Li, Vice Chair of the Board of MEBO Group, led a delegation to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in South Korea for a meeting with Minister-Counselor Zhong Hongnuo, who also serves as Consul General in Seoul. The two sides held in-depth discussions on MEBO’s development in South Korea, opportunities for international medical cooperation, and coordination surrounding the upcoming 2025 APEC Summit in South Korea.
Highlighting MEBO’s Global Strategy and Commitment to Korea
Li Li outlined MEBO Group’s global innovation strategy and emphasized the company’s long-term investment in the Korean market. Over the past 30 years, MEBO has built a strong foundation in South Korea through pharmaceutical registration, academic exchange, and advanced medical services. She also introduced the Group’s core product currently undergoing review by the U.S. FDA, stressing its significance for global healthcare partnerships.
Shared Vision for APEC and Beyond
Minister-Counselor Zhong highlighted the embassy’s commitment to supporting Chinese enterprises and promoting China–Korea trade. Both sides expressed strong interest in expanding collaboration in healthcare innovation and pledged to work closely in support of the 2025 APEC Summit.
Also in attendance were Hu Chenpei, First Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs, Liu Zhuo, President of U.S. News Express, and Liu Gang, Vice President of MEBO Group.
