MEBO Scholarship Fuels Cross-Cultural Growth: Wuhan University Student Reflects on Transformative UC Davis Experience
Zhang Zhenyu, a student from Wuhan University, recently completed an eye-opening academic exchange at the University of California, Davis, funded by the MEBO Center–UC Davis Innovation Center Special Scholarship. In a letter to MEBO Group, Zhang expressed heartfelt gratitude, commending MEBO’s dedication to fostering global academic cooperation.
During his time abroad, Zhang deepened his understanding of the U.S. legal system, participated in seminars, and engaged in meaningful dialogue with peers from around the world. Outside the classroom, Zhang explored California’s diverse culture and formed lasting international friendships. He gained valuable cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills while reflecting critically on China’s legal system from a global perspective. The experience allowed him to develop a broader worldview and strengthened his sense of global citizenship.
