Application of MEBT/MEBO Is Widely Promoted in Indonesia and Remarkable Results Have Been Gained

In May and Nov. 2008, medical promotions including the organization of training seminars and clinical demonstrations were respectively developed in the local hospitals in Indonesia. After that, the clinical professors from the Chinese Burns and Ulcers Technique Center continued to give the clinical guidance by email or phone calls to the clinicians from hospitals in Jakarta, Bandung, Yojakarta, Solo, Cilegon, and Medan on the application of MEBT/MEBO in treating kinds of burns, wounds and ulcers. With the professional instruction on the application of MEBT/MEBO, there have been many case reports on the regeneration of tissues in situ on difficult-to-heal or even incurable wounds which could not be healed with traditional surgical treatment, and on the regeneration of new tissues on severely injured limbs which had to be amputated if treated with traditional surgical therapies. Severely damaged muscles, tendons, and nerves were retrieved by the regenerative therapy of MEBT/MEBO, and unexpected and satisfactory therapeutic results had been gained. These clinical reports all showed the powerful regenerative ability of tissues organs of human body as well as the regenerative medicine and therapy. The following is the detailed case reports:

Case one:

The male patient was 62 years old and had suffered from severe bedsore of IV degree because of long-term bed. He was treated in the Hj. Adam Malik Hospital with over 6 months’ traditional therapy, and then was changed with regenerative medicine and therapy for wounds management and liquefaction and removal of necrotic tissues. Almost in half a month and one, the wounds were found with remarkable diminution of the size and the growth of fresh granulation tissues on the surface.

Case two:

The male patient was 14 years old and suffered from compound and comminuted fracture of left tibiofibula and destructive injuries of skin and soft tissues because of the road accident. And he was treated in the Hj. Adam Malik Hospital in Medan. If only with the traditional surgical therapy, the left leg had to be amputated. While after the consultation of doctors in the Burns Department, Dr. Frank decided to combine with the regenerative medicine and therapy for wounds managements. With this therapy, the necrotic tissues were timely liquefied and removed off the wounds surface. Around one month later, the regenerative recovery was achieved on the original necrosis of muscles. And the wounds were found with remarkable diminution of the size and the full growth of fresh granulation tissues on the surface.

Case three:

The female patient was 36 years old and suffered from compound and comminuted fracture of her pelvis, extensive avulsion injuries of skin and soft tissues, lacerated wounds of anus, rectum and bladder. She was treated in the Krakatau Medical Hospital in Cilegon. On Jan. 19, 2009, the patient rode the motor bike and unfortunately crashed into a trailer bus. After falling off the bike, she was crushed by the rear wheel of the trailer on her pelvis, resulted in compound and comminuted fracture, extensive lacerated and avulsed injuries of skin and soft tissues, and severe complex injuries of internal organs. Dr. Enny Utaya, the professor of Traumatic surgery, combined the regenerative medicine and therapy with his traditional surgical therapy in treating the patient’s complex injury and administered wounds management and clearance of necrotic tissues on wounds surface in time. After one month, the necrotic skin flap and tissues were almost cleared off, and the wounds were found with regenerative recovery of muscle and soft tissues, obvious diminution of wounds size and full growth of granulation tissues on wounds surface.

After the wounds management based on regenerative medicine and therapy on the above patients, there are full growth of fresh and healthy granulation tissues on the wounds surface. In order to guarantee a better and earlier healing of wounds, Professor Chen from the Chinese Burns and Ulcers Technique Center has been in frequent contact with these clinicians of those hospitals. By email and telephone calls, Professor Chen continues to give them guidance on wounds management by micro auto-grafting regenerative techniques. And we believe that in the near future, with the regenerative medicine and therapy created by Dr. Xu Rongxiang, those patients will get the maximum healing on their severe trauma and difficult-to-heal wounds.
